Publishing Process

JIAP follows the standard OJS editorial and publishing process to ensure transparency, quality, and integrity of published research. The flowchart below illustrates the complete workflow from submission to publication.

Publishing Process

Process Overview

1. Submission Queue

The author uploads the manuscript to the journal website and enters metadata for OAI indexing. The editor assigns the submission to a Section Editor to manage the editorial process.

2. Submission Review

The editor checks the submission, conducts peer review by inviting qualified reviewers, and reaches an editorial decision based on the reviewers' recommendations.

3. Submission Editing

Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting for language and formatting. The Layout Editor prepares formatted galleys in PDF format, followed by proofreading to ensure accuracy.

4. Issue Management

The editor creates issues, schedules accepted submissions for publication, and organizes the Table of Contents.

5. Publication

Published articles are immediately available as open access. Items appear with reading tools linking to related internal and external resources, and are archived for browsing with indexing by OAI search engines and Google Scholar.
